Work Worth Doing

Hello!

Today I came home from work and I just slept. I barely remember setting my backpack down and suddenly I am blinking my eyes open from a nap. There is no question that I work hard. I enjoy focusing acutely on a job until it is done. I enjoy knowing I have poured everything I have into whatever project I am working on. But I have always enjoyed working hard. I think the real blessing of this year has been finding work worth doing. Even when I am exhausted, there is still great joy in doing something that makes a difference in the lives of others. There is always joy in closing the gap. There is always joy in loving on kids. I am very grateful to have this opportunity to work hard at work worth doing. -Megan
