Rainbows

Hello!

I haven't posted anything in a while because our team and school have been recovering from a sudden tragedy. It has been a difficult process for so many people, and as I come to terms with it, I am reminded of this quote by Maya Angelou. I had been talking about this quote for several weeks before the event. She had been getting really angry at adults, and I taught her this quote as a way to remember why she should be nice to people even when she is upset or when they are upset. When I suddenly found myself surrounded by clouds, when my beloved children and coworkers were surrounded by clouds, this quote showed me a way to keep going. It showed me how to make things better, one small kindness at a time. -Megan
