On our day of service commemorating a meaningful day with an inspiring and heart-wrenching history, there were a lot of encouraging moments. Our numbers were buoyed by the significance of the day. Still, it wasn't the numbers but the teamwork that was precious and fulfilling. Feeling that unity renewed my hope. It reminded me of the reason I'm serving a year here and now. And it reminded me of unity's role on the path to making a difference. -Megan
