Stars & Space Junk

Hello!

This is so true. I love thinking back on all the wonderful memories with my kids that have made me smile. It makes the year feel a lot more full than when I look back on how I've changed or what I've accomplished. But when I first saw this quote, I immediately thought of all the things we're studying in our "Objects in the Sky" unit. I said to myself, "Yeah, and if I had a piece of space junk for every time you made me feel like crap or a meteor for every time you crushed a little piece of me, I would have a whole night sky, too." I suppose, that's the way it goes. These kids make me smile so brightly and fall so deeply, but it takes everything coming together to make a beautiful night sky. -Megan
