Justice and Joy

Hello!

Sometimes it can be hard working with a population that sees so much injustice. In a very real way, it's a part of every day I serve. This quote reminds me that I can fight injustice and bring joy at the same time; that my work is not to pick one over the other but both at the same time. It also reminds me that it's my responsibility to create justice, joy, compassion, and peace. I need to do more than share it or point it out. I need to work every day to bring more of it into the world. So, that's what I'm working on today and tomorrow and for many more days to come. -Megan
