A Happy Heart

Hello!

I know was probably meant to be a super cheesy romantic quote, but I read this, and I immediately think of my kiddos. Even when the days are long, the little things they do make my heart happier than I could have ever imagined. There is this one student who gets in trouble all the time, so when I see him in the hallway, I try to be as sweet and encouraging as I can. I'm sure it also helps that I'm never there to discipline him. But when he walked up the hallway to where I was sitting with another student, gave me an unexpected kiss on the cheek, and said, "I like you. You have a good heart." Well, to say I melted is an understatement. So I'm working on holding on that feeling and keeping my heart happy. -Megan
